  1. 1891Albert Joseph Boutin is born in Massachusetts
    and Alvina Marie Labrecque is born in Canada
  2. 1908Alvina immigrates to America with her parents to live in the same community as Albert, whose parents were also French Canadian
  3. 1913Albert and Alvina marry after a courtship of several years
  4. 1935Albert, Alvina and their children move into the Stedman House in Chicopee, where they would live the remainder of their lives
  5. 1985Nearly 200 descendants attend the first Boutin Family Reunion

Albert and Alvina Boutin had 11 children and 54 grandchildren. Now about a hundred years after their marriage, their descendants number in the hundreds. The close family ties and traditions fostered by Albert and Alvina (Pepere and Memere to most) continue today with their descendants, who are proud to be part of the Boutin family.
